Melissa Baldado is a graduating senior at the University of California, Irvine with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering specializing in biophotonics. Since Spring 2014, she has been involved with wide field imaging data collection and analysis with the context of burn studies. Her experience is primarily in quantitative near infrared multispectral imaging and laser speckle imaging of in vivo tissue. Melissa aims to apply her expertise in noninvasive tissue analysis to further improve the accuracy and features of Ohana's wearable products.
